Welcome.

If you're here, chances are you've asked yourself a question that most people eventually face:

"Why doesn't happiness last?"

Perhaps you've achieved goals you once dreamed about, only to discover that the satisfaction slowly faded. Perhaps you're successful by the world's standards but still feel something is missing. Or perhaps you're simply curious whether there is a more meaningful way to live.

If so, you're in the right place.

Our Mission

Permanent Happiness exists to explore one simple but profound idea:

Lasting happiness is an inner skill—not an external achievement.

Modern society teaches us to chase more: more success, more money, more recognition, more possessions. While these things can improve our lives, they rarely provide the lasting peace we expect from them.

Our mission is not to reject ambition or success. Instead, it is to understand why external achievements alone can never permanently satisfy the human mind and to discover a more enduring source of well-being.

Our Philosophy

We believe:

  • Happiness is the goal behind almost every human action.
  • Pleasure and happiness are not the same.
  • External success improves life but cannot guarantee inner peace.
  • The quality of life depends more on the quality of the mind than on the quantity of possessions.
  • Lasting happiness begins with understanding ourselves.

This philosophy is not tied to any religion or ideology.

It welcomes anyone who is curious, open-minded, and willing to examine life's deepest questions.

About the Author

I'm Dr. Aman Bishla—an author, public servant, and lifelong student of human behavior, philosophy, and well-being.

As a veterinary doctor by education and an Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer by profession, I've spent years observing a simple truth: people from every background—regardless of wealth, status, or success—seek the same thing.

They want to be happy.

That realization led me to explore a deeper question:

Why does happiness disappear?

The search for that answer became the foundation of Permanent Happiness.

Rather than offering quick fixes or motivational slogans, my work encourages careful thinking, honest self-reflection, and practical wisdom that can be applied in everyday life.

My hope is simple: to help people move beyond the endless pursuit of "more" and discover a life rooted in clarity, peace, and lasting fulfillment.

Join the Journey

Whether you've come here to read an article, explore the book, attend a session, or simply reflect on life's bigger questions, I'm grateful you're here.

The search for permanent happiness doesn't begin with finding better circumstances.

It begins with asking better questions.

Welcome to the journey.
